Blizzard?

They actually issued a Blizzard Warning for the county we live in! They are forecasting 12"-24" inches of snow for our area and I don't know if I am scared or kind of excited. The kids think they love it when it snows but last time they didn't even want to go out and play in it. This time, if we get all that snow, they won't even be able to go out and play.

She's really excited!

Noah had to call his cousin Claire to tell her about it.

Aubrey's all snuggled up and ready for what ever comes our way.

Another Boring Day!

I'm sure there will be several more boring days coming up as they are calling for A LOT of winter weather...yuck! So we will probably be stuck in the house for the next week if they are right (I hope they're not!)

I also hope that Emily learns to listen better or one of us might not make it through the week. She spent quite a bit of time in timeout today. She was not happy with me.

Her angry face.

Noah is always crazy....I caught a picture of him just before he dove into the couch to hide from the camera again.

"No picture Mama!"

As usually Aubrey is wondering what the heck is going on around here.

"They're doing WHAT?"

Car Show and Crappy Pictures

We went to the Auto Show today with the Mudds and it was a lot of fun! My kids have been going stir crazy so it was good for them to get out. Aubrey was happy too because her Yaya offered to watch her so they got to spend the whole day together.

Of course I forgot to bring my camera (not just the battery this time). So now all I have are these crappy pictures from my phone. My camera phone and my kids don't get along because my kids never stop moving. These are the best that I could get.

Emily and Noah in front of a Corvette.

After the Auto Show we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. The kids had fun with the golf tee games that are on the table there. Although I don't think that this is what they were intended for.
I think Emily was just having fun making a mess.

Noah pretended his were candles and kept singing me Happy Birthday.

Aubrey was worn out from spending a fun filled day with her Yaya!

Crazy

We were getting ready to go somewhere the other night and Emily asked me where we were going and I said "We're going crazy!"

Apparently crazy is a great place because they were super excited.

So we pull up to Target and Noah informs us that "this isn't crazy...it's Tawget".

Noah's Crazy Face

Then we decided to stop at Kohls on our way home. This time Emily informed us "this isn't crazy either".
Emily's Crazy Face

I think this happened Monday night and, I kid you not, EVERY TIME we get in the car Noah asks "Mama, we goin' crazy now?"

And every time I say "Buddy, we're already there".

For some reason he doesn't believe me.

"Get me outta here!"

It was a pretty good night until.....

Aubrey is getting so much better with her tummy time! I think she might actually enjoy it for more than 30 seconds now. She is seems like she is so close to rolling over...but who knows.

"Maybe this isn't so bad after all"

I should post pictures of Emily's first dance class from Wednesday. I actually remembered to bring my camera and everything. What I didn't remember is that I took the battery out to charge it so I would be ready. So I had my camera....with no battery. Nice.

Michelle ordered these really cute dance bags for the girls from Etsy and they arrived today. So after we got home Emily put all of her dance stuff in her new bag. Noah helped....I think everything made it in there in once piece.

Her "princess dance bag."

"Is this mine, Mama?"

So we were having a pretty good night. Everyone was dressed and ready for bed by 7:30...crazy right? I brought Aubrey up to bed and as I'm coming back down I hear a crash....so I hurry down the stairs to see what happened....just in time to see the cat puking all over the floor. Yea! Then I walk in the kitchen and see this ALL over the kitchen floor:

The piece on the bottom right of this picture is the biggest piece!

Apparently the dog knocked a bowl off the table and it shattered into a million pieces.

Hey, at least it wasn't the kids this time!

New and Exciting

It's so funny how kids get excited about the littlest things. Today, while I was at the store, I saw a football sippy cup that I just had to get for Noah because he loves all things football.

He was so excited when I showed it to him and said "Tank you Mama" about ten times. Apparently he was in the mood for picture taking today and actually asked for me to take a picture of his new cup.

He's such a "cool dude"!

Of course I felt bad that I was buying Noah something and not Emily so I had to pick her out a girly cup.

She liked it but wasn't nearly as excited as Noah was.

My sister, Michelle, actually discovered a way that Aubrey...dare I say liked...to be on her belly today. Thanks Shells! So we practiced this new and exciting tummy time today.

Maybe someday she will finally roll over!

Milking the Dog?

Last night one of our snakes shed part of his skin so there was pieces of it all over their cage. Emily noticed and wanted to know what happened and if the snake was alright. We explained to her that snakes have to shed their skin when they grow because their skin doesn't stretch. So later in the day I noticed a scratch on Aubrey's face and I asked Emily if she knew what happened because she had been playing with her. She said "I don't know Mama, maybe her head is getting bigger so her skin is coming off." She says the funniest things sometimes!

Speaking of funny things....I was upstairs putting the laundry away and I come down to find this:

"I'm milkin' Henry cuz I'm thirsty....you want some?"
Uhh...No Thanks!

Noah kept wanting to go potty today but every time he "tried" he never went. He said he wanted some Woody underwear so I got him some today, thinking maybe it will help. I tried to get a normal picture of him in his underwear but there was no pictures on the front so this is how he posed:

"Did you get a picture of my bootie?"

I think my kids are getting tired of me taking their picture all of the time. Half the time when I get the camera out they run screaming and hide in the couch. Even Aubrey has had enough, plus, she HATES the flash.

"Really Mom, another picture?"

Just Another Boring Sunday

We didn't do much today again...we are pretty boring that way. But it was my little sister Kelley's birthday....Happy Birthday Kelley!

We went over to Yaya and Papa's for cupcakes and that didn't go so well....Emily forgot how to behave herself....or maybe I just wasn't in the mood for how she usually acts. Anyway, we didn't stay very long.

This morning while I was looking for something for Aubrey to wear Emily took it upon herself to dress her before I came back...she found some doll clothes for her.

"Look Mama, she's a princess now!"

Noah keeps saying that he wants to try to go potty like a big boy, so today Ron went and got him his own potty. He will sit on it for about 3 seconds and then say he doesn't have to go.

Hey, at least he's trying....kinda.

It's Been Awhile

....since I had to post sleeping pictures!

She even pouts when she's sleeping.

Oops!!! He woke up (but, luckily, went right back to sleep).

She scooted herself side ways so this was the best I could get

Hopefully they all wake up "on the right side of the bed!"

Concentration

We didn't really do much today....it was a pretty boring day. But there was lots of concentrating going on.

In one of the magazines I get they had this big tear out poster to color, so I gave it to Emily and she worked on it pretty much all day.

It had like a million different little pictures on it and, of course, she had to show me every time she finished one.

This apparently requires lots of concentration.

Emily wouldn't share so Noah had to draw his own picture.

This too takes lots of concentration.

"What did you draw Noah?".....Your guess is as good as mine.

Aubrey's a bit too young to color. She was trying really hard to shove her whole toy in her mouth even though it is practically as big as she is.

This one's really tough...it requires intense eye crossing.

Oh No....More Snow!

I guess the weather people were right about the snow this time! We actually got about 8 inches! Emily was all excited about going out to play in it....until we got to my Mom's with ALL their stuff and then she decided she would rather stay inside. (That's my girl!)

Gabi and Sam went out for awhile and then when they came back in they all decided to create a jumping area with the couch cushions. This is one of Emily's favorite things to do so she had a blast. Noah had fun for a while but he was pretty crabby because he didn't have a nap today so there was a lot of whining involved.

She's crazy!

Emily probably made him mad so he's gonna jump on her.

The two Reds were hanging out for a while today. Aubrey and Claire are definitely going to be double trouble. They both have the "redhead" personality so they are going to be a trip together. Claire loves to hold the baby and she's so cute with her.

They both already look like they got caught doing something naughty.

Sometimes it's hard to tell just how red Aubrey's hair really is so we wanted to get a picture to compare Claire and Aubrey's hair.

WOW.....are they on fire?!

Full (Muddy) House

Emily really needed a haircut, as you can probably tell from some of the previous pictures on here. Michelle was taking her girls today and offered to take Emily with her when she went. Long story short, I ended up meeting her there and then she stayed to get her haircut while I took the kids back with me. I felt like I should of had a daycare sticker on the side of my truck.

Maybe would could have fit one more between the two in the back?

After we were home for a while Emily came up to me and said "I wanna play in the mud!" I thought..."Why not!"
The calm before the storm....

Michelle thought this was a great idea.* She even microwaved the cold mud, added water to make it more muddy and then had to add some cornstarch to thicken it up a little bit. I'm sure she will add this activity into her daily routine.

Noah, on the other hand, was not impressed. After about 5 times of washing his hands after he touched the mud each time, he went and found something clean to play with.

Ewwww!!!

I think Emily would have played in it all day.....she's such a brown noser.

Thankfully Aubrey slept through the whole thing. She's really wants to know if we are going to get the 6+ inches of snow they are calling for tomorrow so she woke up just in time to catch the news.
Chillin' waiting for the weather to come on.

While Aubrey is litterally putting a foot in her mouth, I'm hoping that the meterologists are as well regarding this snow they are saying we are going to get.

*Note sarcasm.

Practicing

I have been trying to work with Aubrey to roll over but she just won't do it. She is just too stubborn and HATES being on her belly so we decided to skip that milestone and go on to sitting. She did petty well with a little help from the Boppy.

She was having quite a conversation with her little friend.

Noah did not want his picture taken this time. He made that quite clear.

Here he is practicing throwing a fit.....
I think he has that perfected so I wish he would stop practicing.

Emily wouldn't cooperate tonight either.

So she decided she wanted to practice watching TV....
sometimes I wish she would practice this more....
like when I'm trying to get things done.

Finally I got them all to together for a group picture.

They are practicing getting a long with each other....

they need LOTS more practice with this!

Future

Hopefully this is not a flash-forward to what Aubrey's hair is going to look like in a couple of years. However, it does resemble her sister's hair after she wakes up in the morning, just a different color.

I see a Chi flat iron in her future.

Sam came over this afternoon and her and Emily had a picnic with Aubrey. Not sure why they were taking her clothes off....I was too scared to ask.

Maybe she had ants in her pants.....

Noah was so proud that he helped Daddy make a fire in the fireplace tonight. They did a really good job! The house got up to 79 degrees and I was actually hot for once!

The fire was "berry hot"!
